The bag is made of 100% low density polyethylene (LDPE).
Greiner Bio-One always aims to minimize the materials used in our products and packaging and to enable easy recycling. Components that are easily separable and consist of 100% of the same material are valuable raw materials and should therefore be recycled separately.
Ultimately, therefore, you can help prevent packaging and products from ending up in landfill or being incinerated by taking them to a suitable recycling system after use, provided they are free from hazardous contamination.
To make this easier for you, we have listed the materials & recycling codes of some of our products and their packaging below.
The pipettes are made of 100% polystyrene (PS) and the filters of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE).
The bag is made of 100% low density polyethylene (LDPE).
One side of the packaging is made of 100% paper that can be recycled separately from the clear foil, which is made of non-separable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and low-density polyethylene (PE).
Both the clear and the white foil are made of non-separable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and low-density polyethylene (PE).
The tubes are made of 100% polypropylene (PP) and can be recycled separately from the screw caps which are made of 100% high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
The bag is made of non-separable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and low-density polyethylene (PE).
The rack is made of 100% polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
The foam rack is made of 100% polystyrene (PS).
