In June 2024, Greiner Bio-One UK became the first Greiner location to make a Net Zero sustainability commitment.
In line with the demands of its largest customer, the UK National Health Service (NHS) a commitment was put in place to reach Net Zero by 2050 in the following areas:

• Scope 1
• Scope 2
• Scope 3    
  - Upstream transportation and distribution
  - Waste generated in operations
  - Business travel
  - Employee commuting
  - Downstream transportation and distribution
