KremsmĆ¼nster, January 24, 2025 ā Greiner Bio-One is pleased to announce the appointment of Gautam Choudhary as the new Executive Vice President of the Business Unit BioScience. Gautam Choudhary brings over 25 years of global leadership experience to Greiner Bio-One, having held significant roles at renowned companies such as Thermo Fischer, Millipore Merck, Lonza, and Repligen. His in-depth knowledge of cell culture and plastic consumables, coupled with his extensive experience in drug development and manufacturing, positions him as an ideal leader for the business unit BioScience.
Most recently, Gautam Choudhary served as Senior Vice President at Repligen, where he significantly grew the business and led the development of the product portfolio from concept to commercialization. In his new role, Gautam Choudhary will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of the business unit BioScience. This business unit is dedicated to the development and manufacture of laboratory articles and vessels for the cultivation and analysis of cell cultures, for example, as well as microplates for the high-throughput screening of biochemical, genetic or pharmacological tests.

Born in India and raised in England, Gautam Choudhary has had various international assignments throughout his career, including in Asia, Europe, and the USA. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from India and an MBA in Marketing from Leeds University Business School in the UK. His international experience and multicultural background make him an excellent candidate to lead Greiner Bio-One's BioScience business unit to a strong global presence.
