Greiner Bio-One schenkt weer producten aan Oekraïne

Oekraïne blijft humanitaire hulp nodig hebben als gevolg van de aanhoudende oorlog. Als fabrikant van laboratorium- en medische producten volgt Greiner Bio-One een verzoek om hulp van de Europese Commissie en schenkt opnieuw productdonaties ter waarde van in totaal € 26.000.
Kremsmünster, maart 2023 – De voortdurende oorlog in Oekraïne vereist nog steeds humanitaire hulp. De Oekraïense autoriteiten voor civiele bescherming hebben begin 2022 voor het eerst contact opgenomen met de Europese Commissie en gevraagd om dringend noodzakelijke hulpgoederen. Deze behoefte is sindsdien voortdurend bijgewerkt en doorgegeven aan de deelnemende landen van het EU-mechanisme voor civiele bescherming. Als reactie schenkt Greiner Bio-One, internationale fabrikant van laboratorium- en medische producten, producten ter waarde van in totaal € 26.000 aan Oekraïne.
Donaties voor medische zorg
De schenking omvat producten voor laboratorium- en analytische behoeften en is afkomstig van twee fabrieken in Kremsmünster (Opper-Oostenrijk) en Frickenhausen (Duitsland). Greiner Bio-One draagt zo bij aan de medische zorg in Oekraïne.

Joint resolution with the Republic of Austria
The organisational handling of the donation of goods takes place together with the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior. It is responsible for international disaster-related aid and state crisis management and coordinates the overall request for assistance from the European Commission for Austria. In permanent coordination with the federal states, other authorities as well as aid and rescue organisations, various aid supplies are continually being made available to Ukraine. The Federal Ministry organises the transport of goods. This is co-financed by the civil protection mechanism of the European Commission. The goods are handed over to the Ukrainian civil protection authority. From there, they are distributed to the areas as required.
First product donation made in the previous year
As early as 2022, Greiner Bio-One donated blood collection products worth €30,000 via a local dealer in Ukraine, Simesta Vaal LLC. The goods benefited several hospitals.
